NICK WIDGER (he/him)

Nick is a Qualified Mental Health Professional with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Illinois University, has a passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. Nick’s clinical experience spans work with youth, adults, and families in a variety of settings. Inspired by a deep belief in the resilience of the human spirit, Nick is dedicated to helping clients find meaning, healing, and empowerment at every stage of life.
Nick welcomes individuals ages 10 and up, as well as families, and has a special interest in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and those navigating men’s issues, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. Nick’s approach is warm, collaborative, and affirming, focusing on normalizing the emotional experiences that often feel isolating or overwhelming.
Drawing from Existential Therapy and complementary theoretical orientations, Nick tailors each session to meet the unique needs and goals of his clients. He is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where clients can explore their stories, build coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
